Manyi Chan.
Photographer / Visual Artist / Writer
(b.2001) Hong Kong-born artist based in London and Shanghai. Her introverted nature, combined with her diverse upbringing, has cultivated a keen observational sense in daily life. She engages with unfolding events in a gentle and humorous way, crafting narratives that arise from private moments within public spaces. Manyi reconstructs contemporary everyday landscapes through various media including photography, text, sound, and sculpture.
常用的网名为“小光”,2001年出生于香港并生长于上海和伦敦。内敛的性格加上多元的成长环境,使她在日常生活中始终保持着敏锐的观察力。她喜欢以温和而幽默的方式介入正在发生的事件,着眼于公共空间中的私密时刻,从中萌生出独特的叙事,通过摄影、文字、声音、雕塑等多种媒介来重构当代日常景观。
